For Jeanne's Feeling Blue MIXed media challenge - mostly blues and a purple accent. This was great, because for yesterday's WT challenge I had been hoping to have time to try the Foxy Oxi tutorial. So, I tried it twice, once on DOX and once on regular distress.
This one is the regular distress: I sponged on the colours, sprinkled with the powder, misted, dried and brushed the powder off.
Stamped the script stamp. Added the bokeh with a homemade circle stencil. Added the sentiment. The little butterfly is from a Penny Black clear set, with dots of gold pen. I coloured the RAK die-cut with Inktense pencils and added SN clear glitter pen over the lavender heads. Edged with a black Sharpie and stuck it to a white base.

Beautiful look with your blue on blue bokeh bg and the bit of lavender - Love the script running through the bg too - This makes a wonderful serene sympathy card.

Sabrina, everything about your card is fabulous! You make mixed media look so easy, whereas I overthink everything and overwhelm myself. Thanks for always including your process; I need to take your lead and give it a go.

I am typing this quietly, as I do not wish to start a riot here at SCS....regular distress ink is a winner!!! I love both of your cards, but this regular distress sings to me. That is a terrible choice of words as this a sympathy card, but you know what I mean. I could spend a week's holiday wandering through your gallery and I would need an extra week to study all the great tutorials and links you provide us. You are a gem my friend.
