This is my card for today's Memories are Made of... Teapot Tuesday Challenge. If you want to find out why we are sending our cards to Mary this week check out the link.
If you would like anybody to be the honoree of a tea-party (aka a card showers, no strings attached), check out the forum where there's a thread where you can request a tea-party.
I die-cut the aperture in the kraft paper, drew the outline onto my white base and stamped the poppies twice, colouring them with pencils. Masked them and stamped the text, then spattered gold.
The humming bird was stamped on a scrap of clingwrap background, with a little pencil detail added for the red throat, and I covered it with SN clear glitter pen. Stamped it again on the white base, coloured it in silver and then added Stickles, hoping that it would look like the blur of motion.

Gorgeous! I love the sparkle on your hummer but what really caught my eye is the splattering of gold on the bg....it's soooo pretty! And I love the use of poppies..they're so delicate and have an added remembrance factor to them. Lovely!

Your hummingbird card is gorgeous, Sabrina! Love how you made it look like the bird is hovering which they do near their food. Mary will love your card for sure!

How pretty with the poppies. They are the flower we always use here for our Remembrance day on NOV. 11. LOVE your little hummingbird. They ARE my fav. bird too but the only ones I have seen IRL are the brown ones, but they are still so cute and delicate. Super job with the masking and love the sparkly bg...TFs...HUGS..:0)
