Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends. Sometimes I wonder how you can stand us in the US. I guess every country has its issues.
Thanksgiving in Canada usually falls on Indigenous People's weekend. There is football and similar foods that we eat in the US. The first official Thanksgiving was in 1872 to celebrate the Prince of Wales' (later Edward VII) recovery from illness. "Thanksgiving to native indians was a way of everyday life rather than a one-day celebration."~ a quote from Statutoryholidays.com.
Playing with new dies today; thankfully I remembered I had saved a 'brayering off' piece of paper from my first go at Gelli Plate printing, probably more than 3 years ago. I have a hard time letting things go.
I am thankful for life.

What a beautiful design. This is one of those cards that deserves to be set out as an everyday reminder, I like challenging/though-provoking sentiments. Super die, and it looks fab with the twine and pearls. Makes me think a little of an orrery or something like that.

How wonderful, Jean! And great work on the history of Thanksgiving. My dad's side of the family are Indigenous People. I'll tell you though, he always calls us the O.P. (for Original People).

LOL! Jean, you are my kind of gal holding onto a piece of scrap paper for three years. I had no idea there were so many people out there just like me. I'm so glad that I found you all here! Beautiful card. I love the pearls!
