Another (fairly) quick & easy card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I had this sticker of a skiing snowman, and thought this sketch--with its angled lines--would be perfect for it!
I cut my background patterned paper to 5.5x4.25", and adhered it to a white A2 card base. I had previously measured (& marked) the printout I made of the sketch, so I cut my two lower pieces to those measurements. I also trimmed 2 strips each from blue shimmer & white cardstock. I inked the white strips with Delicata Rose Gold ink, using the direct-to-paper technique. That particular color perfectly complemented the pinks in the background paper. I adhered my left triangle piece first, then the 2 paper strips that run along its side. I next adhered the larger (almost) triangle piece, and glued down the strips along it, trimming the ends where they butted against the other strips so they met accurately. Finally, I trimmed off any overhanging bits.
I glued my snowman to a circle of pink paper that I'd die cut. Even though it was a sticker, I went ahead and added liquid glue to the back, both to make sure it stayed stuck & to give me some play time to get it positioned properly. I traced around the same circle die I'd used to cut the pink paper onto a scrap of blue cardstock. I fussy cut that out, to give me about a 1/16" mat. I glued my pink circle to that, and finally glued that to my card. I did make sure to line up the snowman's skis with the border strips on the card front. I really like how this card came out. My only conundrum is whether it is a Christmas card, or just a winter card. Santa is mentioned in a tiny bit of text in the background paper, and the snowman does have a tree on his sweater. But I still don't know what to call it.... I may just let the woman I send my cards to decide how to categorize it!

Oh, Andrea, what a fabulous snow scene and wonderful DP. Love this sweet skiing snowman! You should add the CT1118 to the keywords. This is perfect for the theme, "Along the Lines." I love it, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
