This began as a card for the Alpha B Challenge with buds as a double challenge. I picked my stamp set with birds and buds: Natural Beauty. Then I looked at the Natural Beauty gallery for ideas. There I found this must be a favorite stamp set of Melody aka Lacyquilter. Idea! She was our featured stamper a couple of weeks ago, so I cased one of her cards in her honor. DD8ABC15O IC625 I loved her card! The differences is that I made mine monochromatic for the TLC Challenge this week using Baja Breeze with two neutrals, black & white. I used the same stamp set, the same sketch with ovals, but I used birds instead of butterflies, and I added rhinestones. I used the thinking of you instead of sympathy. I used pierced ovals instead of the faux stitching. Beautiful gallery, Melody! I know I am late, but congratulations! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for looking.

Gorgeous card, Sharon! I love the monochrome theme, that Baja Breeze is lovely. Beautiful birds and perfect for the letter B as well as honoring Melody.

Never late if you have got a card made, right, Sharon?......I agree this is a great stamp set. You have done Melody proud by making this one to honor her! Can't go wrong with a bird card imo, lol. Thanks for the inspiration for this set.

Great card! Lovely monochromatic theme and love your layout with the triple ovals. You knocked it out of the park with all these challenges in one card!

This beautiful card was certainly worth the wait Sharon. You sure tucked a lot of goodies (and challenges) into this one fabulous card. I love the monochromatic color scheme you used here. ~Karen.
