Itâs been a whole month since Iâve uploaded a card. Iâve been so busy with DHâs recovery from knee surgery, but he is doing so much better and feels almost normal (as he finishes up PT soon). So thankful for wonderful medical care and for all the prayers for both of us.
I enjoyed this bouquet filled with such a delightful collection of botanical elements. It was a challenge for me, as I tried to figure out what colors would work together. Still not sure I love it all, but I did enjoy coloring. Kept a simple layout with a mat of Almost Amethyst and then mounted it on some textured Bazzill card stock. That was it.
DH finally put away the Cold Rush and ice-making machine, and now our living room is looking normal again. Yay! I am hoping to start making more cards again. I sure have missed that. But a big thank you to all my precious friends for your prayers and thoughts for both of us. And thank you for the many Best of 2018 favorites. I absolutely love SCS for the encouragement and love from all my friends here. Hugs and love to you all! xoxo

Oh my Cheryl, I think your colours are fabulous! So happy you are feeling up to making cards again. Life sometimes gets in the way of our desires as you know. :-) Love the way you coloured the clover flower and leaves! What a joyous cup of nature! So great to see you in the galleries!

Exquisite coloring Cheryl, with perfect color choices, even the color of the CS mat matches the vase and two of those pretty pansies! I love this image and how perfect it works for a square card. I'm happy for you to have found time to create and that Walt has improved so much! Take care! Hugs, Stef

Great to see you have found some time to create such a special card. Now - my favourite flowers (pansies), cute little blue forget me nots and of course the clover and flowers. All so beautifully coloured and shaded. I could just sit and look at this image for ages and ages. Good to hear that Walt is starting to feel "normal" again. Takes time - it has taken me nearly 12 months to start to feel like "normal" again - he he.
I have been meaning to thank you for letting me know my card arrived. Yay! This one is amazing - it quite literally looks 3-D. Outstanding. Such a work of art! Glad to hear Walt is doing so well and life is getting back to more normal for you two.

This is Stunning Cheryl! It's a breath of Spring and believe me I need that right now. I think you did an amazing job on the colors here...I especially love the 4 leaf clovers (that's what they look like to me). I'm happy your DH is on the mend....I had to google Cold Rush...lol. Glad you are back in the swing of things ;)

Oh, Cheryl, this couldn't be more beautiful. I love the colors and those wonderful pansies and the clover. I see some 4 leaf clovers...meaning good luck. I'm so happy hubby is recovering nicely. Bet he is glad now he went ahead and got all this over with. Hope you're feeling better, too.
