Karen Barber selected a wonderful color combination for this week's color challenge. Her colors are SU Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, and Bermuda Bay, and her dessert is feathers.
I created a lighthouse scene for my card. I die cut a lighthouse from white cardstock and colored it navy. Using the negative, I created the sky, ocean, and beach by blending crushed curry, poppy parade, and night of navy for the sky, bermuda bay and unicorn white for the ocean and Altenew sand dunes for the beach.
I glued the lighthouse back inside the piece of cardstock to create the inlaid lighthouse. To finish the card, I added birds in the sky for dessert (i.e., feathers) and a sentiment.

Bev, what a beautiful scene. I love the inlaid lighthouse done in navy with the lights shining through the windows. Your sky and ocean look fabulous. Those birds look so real and just perfect for the scene. Hope you're having a good week. Oh, and I like the "hello" in the sand.
