Well, its the final week in April and I have to tell you I have enjoyed playing along this month with these color challenges more than I expected to. ( that perfectionist corner of my brain stresses too hard about "having" the correct colors) and so, the guess work has really made this a challenge for me. This week Barbara has chosen Calypso coral, Peek a boo peach & old olive with a side of Die cuts... so, I assumed that a Poppy would work with those colors based on the names of them and I was surprised the old olive embossing powder turned out darker than the old olive papers and cardstock and I just shrugged and said good enough. There is a closer look at the bloom here on the blog. Barbara, thanks for this challenge (you can find it here to play along) and Ladies, thanks for having me. tfl.

Very pretty coloring of these delicate poppies, Stacy. How cool that you had Old Olive embossing powder! It's been fun designing along with you this month!

It was super fun playing along side of you this month. I also really had an amazing time. I love your delicate poppy here - so light and tender. And the matching sentiment is the perfect pair.

Stacy, this card features one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Oh So Lovely! I love the way you colored the flowers and the way you superimposed the sentiment. The Old Olive paper is a perfect backdrop. Thank you so much for guest designing with us this month. Your creations have been wonderful!
