Here is my card for Bob. I wanted to keep it simple, soothing, and somewhat masculine. I thought this set that was on my list to be used was pretty perfect for masculine because the flowers are so simple. I started by stamping the flowers in a warm yellow. Then I stamped the outlines of the flowers and sponged a bit of yellow glow in the center. Then I stamped the bird on the branch, die cut it and popped it up. But it needed something else. That's when I remembered Susie's challenge title "Sunrise Sunset" and I sponged a golden sun behind the bird. Exactly what I was looking for.

Your little bird on a branch sure is the perfect addition Jen. I love the design and the effect of the flowers in the background. Thanks for joining in Bob's Teaparty.

Jennifer this is just perfect for Bob and Tracy. I love the subtle sun light behind the bird silhouette and the yellow flowers are so perfect. Tracy's mom Kathy loved yellow sun flowers. Thank you so much for joining in the tea party to send Bob and Tracy a card. They will be so touched and love this card you made.

Simple and soothing for sure. Love the stylized bird and the blossoms.

This is such a lovely sympathy card and I would say is perfect for a man or a woman. I, too, like how your soft yellow blooms highlight this wonderful bird image so nicely. Bob and Tracy will both appreciate this beautiful card you made for them. ~Karen.
