About a month ago I gave out directions to about 50 people and have yet to see any cards appear on here with this technique. These are for my class on Tuesday night so I thought I would share.

I've never seen "paper braiding" before. It's really neat! It looks very time consuming. Is it difficult? Where did you learn to do it? Lucky people in your class- I am sure they will love it! TFS

I was not one of the lucky 50. I WILL post a card with your technique no matter how it comes out.....good, bad or otherwise, if you would be so kind as to share it some more. [email protected]

Here is the directions for the Paper Braiding!
Using Stampin Up Grid paper or any graph paper, cut a 7" strip by at least 7 squares on the grid. Fold in half.
Cut the same size strip from your double sided paper. Fold in half. Insert this in the grid paper & attach a paper clip to the top.
Using paper snips cut slits into both the grid & paper at a 90 degree angle, using the square to make sure all cuts are the same size and evenly spaced apart.
Remove the double sided paper from the grid paper, open up and lay flat.
Starting at the bottom, evenly fold over every other chevron that you created and tuck it under the previous fold.
Do this all the way up to the top.
You will now have a braid or diamond fold that you can mat & embellish on your card front.
