A terrific layout which inspired my Father's Day card for my hubby. Our last name is Carpenter, so I had to have this stamp set & coordinating dies. It was good to get them out again as I have not used these items for a while. I thought this grid patterned paper went well with the tool & wood theme and decided to use a long retired red color with it. I substituted circles with a hammer and a hexagon shape for the sentiment. To create the hammer, I stamped it three times on Basic Gray, Brushed Silver and Wood Texture DSP. Then I die-cut the three images, cut apart and pieced together as seen. The silver ruler was embossed by one of the dies and then I added it as an embellishment.
Fun card to create. I look forward to seeing all the fun you have with the Sketch Challenge! TFL
