A little story for you: for months I have had a window cling of Queen Elizabeth on my rear driver's side window. I often get comments about her or sometimes people will point at her or smile and give me a thumbs up and I'm looking around, very puzzled at first. Today, I was returning a book at the library book drop and a policeman was standing on the curb as I would exit. As I pulled forward, he walked forward and I could tell he wanted to tell me something. He wanted a picture of QEII for his wife. I told him my usual story: since Philip had to give up his license, QEII lowered herself to ride in my Corolla. Always gets a laugh.
Anyway, I used some Jane Davenport washi on my emboss resist strips and the one on the left says Queen of Everything. All three strips, attached on the wonky side, have a little bit of the tapes on them and then I added ribbon at the top. This is for Robin's teaparty, hoping to give her encouragement as she deals with her health. Sorry, I didn't include a doggie.

I'm not sure which I like more -- your stunning card or your delightful story. They are both smile producers. I love the layout of this card with the three panels and the big bow. The emboss resist strips are fabulous. Just beautiful. Oh, and give the Queen a wave for me too. LOL. Too funny.

Ha! Ha! My sister's license plate is HRHQEIII. (Her Royal Heiness Queen Elizabeth III) - at least I think that's right. Anyway, her name is Liz, so we always refer to her that way. My Mom is English, so we think there has to be some royalty in our background!! Back to your card, I love the embossed strips and the double bow gives is a "WOW" factor. Beautiful card. You can pick me up in the Corolla any time. I try not to let "royalty" get in the way.

First I have to say, I love the story! That the police officer wanted a picture for his wife is hilarious to me. Of course, the story about her riding in your car is also funny!
Your card is beautiful! I love the colors and design. Thank you for sending your card to Robin. She will love it!
