For Sabrina's challenge today I started looking at digi images and found this typewriter that looks exactly like my first typewriter. It was blue and came in a nice case so I could carry it around. I printed this out and added the message on the page from the You're My Type stamp set; mixing the stamps a little to say what I wanted. Added the die cut just for a little visual interest and used DP with typed words all over it.

Looks like my Royal........we must have had the same model typewriter!! Love the word bg and the die....it DOES add something of interest to the bg.

Really cute and it sounds like this challenge took you back. Did the same for me. I am grateful that we can all lightly tap on a computer keyboard now. Less work!

What a snazzy typewriter! I remember my older half-sister had an orange portable in a case, probably quite similar. But I preferred my dad's old Remington portable. I love the little bird perched on the paper.

Oh goodness.....this brought back memories. I had one exactly like this. It was electric. So much easier to type on than the manual ones. Your card is terrific. TFS

Cute card, Pat! And both of my daughters (16 an 19 years old) would love to have your first typewriter. They always look longingly at typewriters when we come across them in thrift stores.

I was thinking it was a Royal too. I have my typewriter still sitting in my desk waiting to be glued to a card. My mojo has gone walkabout again lol. TFS. Great card. Happy day
