The teapotters are sending cards to Beth who is a friend of SCS Calabash Kish (Kathleen) for encouragement. Pat is our hostess and she chose the theme of Dig Deep and find some good stuff in our stash. This is a set from 2016, but I just acquired it last year (garage sale) and it has not seen my ink till now. The verve sequins are a few years old too. Beth likes to paint and I hope she is not too critical at my attempt of w/c. She likes walks on the beach with her dog, so maybe she will come across a starfish. I embossed it first in grapefruit grove and then stamped again in versamark and used pink ep on it. I saw a similar design of a watercolor wash on pinterest by Buffy Cooper who cased hers from Emma Goddard. Camera pic does not show how turquoise-y this looks irl. Loved Buffy's advice to dilute Tombow multi liquid glue and use a water brush to splatter the card and then pour on glitter. I am happy with how that turned out.
This is also for the w/c challenge to do emboss resist this week and need more practice but it represents water so hopefully the look is forgiving. tfl.

Beautiful card, Shirl. I love this starfish in just the shallow part of the water. Your splatters look great, too.

Oh yes wouldn’t even all like to be there now. Warm sunshine (it’s cold and rainy here at the moment), sand between our toes and catching a glimpse of this lovely starfish. A perfect day.

I agree with Anita..the texture on that starfish is very cool. I love the sequin and glitter accents. I didn't know about that tip on applying the glue with the glitter..I'll try that. Great card!

Oh, this just says summer! It's beautiful, Shirl. I like your spattered glitter. It's funny, I was just looking at a couple of nearly dead bottles of Stickles and thinking it was time to have a glitter spattering session. Gorgeous CAS design.

Fabulous, Shirl! I love the design with the fabulous starfish. It looks like it's up and running. Which I find very uplifting. I've never heard that tip about the Tombow glue and the glitter. I want to try that now!
