This holiday card was made for a card challenge that urged us to create a card with "snow". I've always loved beautiful night time skies with snowy hills in the foreground, so chose a simple looking card to feature the sky.
The sky was created using Mindy Eggen's "whispy alcohol backgrounds technique" you can find at https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...ndy-eggen.html It's really simple to do, but can get a bit messy (I still have a couple aqua colored fingernails two days after creating my sky!).
The hills in the foreground were created by die cutting white cardstock using various Lawn Fawn "stitched hills" dies, and overlaying them to create a more 3D effect.
The cute little bear, lone pine tree and sentiment are from the retired Stampin' Up! (SU) "White Christmas" stamp set.
Note that I sprayed hairspray on my sky background after it dried. The black ink seemed to come off on my fingers, so I sealed it with hairspray, which also gave a mottled starry sky kind of look to the sheet.
I am rating the difficulty for this card as a "2" out of "5" only because you need to by special plasticized "paper" to ensure the alcohol inks spread across the surface well.

Very pretty winter card. Your beautiful sky looks like the Northern Lights!
