I've been working on a mixed media remembrance project of my cat, Nicky. I've wanted to do this for awhile now, but couldn't get things to gel. She meant the world to me.
There's a lot of flowers, but she loved playing in the craft room when I was crafting and I wanted her surrounded by them. I have several charms and pearls added to it, but if you look close, there's silver angel wings in the bottom right corner, an gold angel in the bottom left, a silver crown next to the rose atop her remembrance, a jeweled heart and key since she held 'the key to my heart' and it has a purple ribbon to show she passed from abdominal cancer. Finally, a ruby scepter on the upper right--because to me, she was royalty. Thanks for looking and indulging me in this. It's been a year and I finally feel better now that I've done this. I hung it this morning in my craft room where I'll always see it.

Lovely tribute to your Nicky! I have a scrapbook of the animals my life and enjoy looking through it and remembering. So nice it will be in your craft room. The love of a pet is a wonderful thing. :-)
