When I saw the Kaliedescope challenge I immediately thought of a snowflake stamp. I settled on this one and did the challenge a little differently. I punched 4 squares and put a dot on the back of each to hold them in place on my stamping mat. Then I colored the stamp with markers so that each section of the stamp would resemble the kaleidoscope pieces. Spraying a little mist of water so I knew all my colors would get a good impression I stamped the snowflake lining up the points to the lines separating the squares.
Looking for a mat I found a circle frame in my stash. So i decided to mat it with a white layer and add the squares over top the circle and at a point.

The snowflake and lacy details absolutely capture the look of a real kaleidoscope! The fact that there are only squares made the technique less of s real kaleidoscope for me.

Well, isn't this a fun kaleidoscope card, Pat! Your snowflake stamp looks so much like a kaleidoscope frame to me. I'm sure it's due to the variety of colors. How smart of you to think this way~
