LeAnn is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us the rich palette of Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry and Smokey Slate, with the dessert option to add our favorite green.
Well! Today turned out to be a day full of responsibilities and procrastination, and I am late, late, late in posting my card. What's more, it turned out to be a CAS card due to time constraints. But the good thing is that I am reminded that a quick card can still be a pretty card!
I pulled out an old and favorite border die, and cut that from Garden Green cardstock (eat dessert first!). Then I cut a piece of Crushed Curry DS paper for the right side of the border, and a piece of white cardstock for the main panel. All three were glued to an A2 white base card. I stamped the greeting in Hickory Smoke archival ink and punched a few flowers from Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Added Nuvo drops (close in color to Crushed Curry), and my card was done!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Isn't it wonderful when we can create such beauty quickly? Sometimes too much time to plan is not our friend. You've created a delightful card Barbara!

VERY pretty, and wonderful as a CAS card. Love the layout!

Barbara you're playing my game when it comes to procrastination but you would never know it on your design! The inlaid design is beautiful and looks like it was time intensive! This is a gorgeous design and so happy you shared it with us!
