I kept the chick and the splatter background and translated the balloon color into the light blue background, and changed the theme and sentiment to Easter.
I had fun today playing with some very old Twinkling H2Os paints, and they still worked perfectly! I stamped the chick image in Stazon ink on watercolor paper, then water colored with a combination of ink pad ink (chick) and Twinkling H2Os (eggshell and flowers on egg). I fussy cut the image out once dry. I stamped the splatter stamp several times on the blue background with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink for a tone on tone look. I stamped the sentiment and attached the blue strip to the card front, and attached the image with foam tape.
USEIT2022 - Havenât used those Twinkling H2Os in many MANY years. The splatter background stamp saw ink for the first time in eons also!

Such a cute, Easter card! Love the darling chick and the splatter stamp. This is a darling case and I am very glad that your paints are still good - you need to use them and that background stamp more often!

This is such a cute case of Nancy's card. I wish I could see this in person to see the wonderful twinkling H20 sparkle in your coloring. Such a cute Easter card. The happy look on the chick's face is so sweet.

So adorable. I love that you moved from the balloon to the eggshell and you can totally see that inspiration in both the shapes and the colors. Love the splatters but really love that happy look on the chick. Sweet card,
