The flower sketch is pretty, but I'm not really in to big flowers so much. However, with three grandchildren, I'm always in need of a fun kid card.
I stamped these astro-kids onto heavy white cardstock, then colored them with Copic markers. Next, I scanned them into my Brother ScanNCut, and cut them out. I cut an additional two blank outlines for each astro-kid and glued them together in a stack to give more of a feeling of "floating" in space.
They were attached to a piece of dark blue pattern paper that had been matted on the same thick cardstock as the card base. This panel was then mounted on the card base with foam tape,,, again to give a "deep space" feel to the card.
Finally, I stamped a sentiment that would be good for a birthday or any congratulatory occasion on white cardstock, then die cut using a stitched die. This was attached using glue on the astro-kid panel, and a piece of foam tape on the card front since they are at different levels.
I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5", but it does require fussing cutting or digital cutting since there are no dies to match the astro-kids.
