This is for today's Alphabet challenge - newsprint - and today's sketch. Looking at the sketch, I thought of my nutcracker and that his mustache could be panel 2 with the sentiment stamped right on it.
The newsprint didn't look very festive so I stamped the star stamp from Gina K's Starstruck stamp set repeatedly over the back and heat embossed it with gold which gives great shine to the background.
I colored my nutcracker with Copics and sponged the edge of the panel with Vintage Photo (also sponged the edges of the newsprint panel). Die cut some gold glitter paper for the scallop strip. The mustache is popped up with dimensionals.
I sponged Starry Night around the border of the white card base to give it a pop of color.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

So clever Catherine to emboss the DP and make it festive. Your image is full of fun. Love how you stamped the sentiment on his moustache. Happy day
