As I thought about this Christmas challenge, I knew I wanted to create a very simple tree. In part, it reminds me of simpler times from my earliest years out on a farm. One of the many wild cedar trees would be found in everyone's home at Christmas.
Since I didn't have a truly simple stamp for this movie-inspired tree, I used markers. (We won't discuss how many trials were nixed.) The white edges are actually white, but the camera and today's light put a new twist on that.
And yes, what I really want for Christmas is Peace. Peace be with you!

What a lovely card! The inside and outside scallops look fantastic. Kraft, white and red are a favourite combination for me. Your little tree takes centre stage so well!

Bev, I just love your little tree and the sequins for ornaments is such a clever idea. I love the snowflake vellum paper, also. Yes, peace would be wonderful. Love your card.
