Color Challenge hosted by Chris. Her beautiful colors are: Rich Razzleberry, Fresh Freesia, Evening Evergreen (I had to substitute with Mossy Meadow) and dry embossing for dessert.
I have been sick and have not made a card for a week. I did not know if I could find the mojo for a card. This morning, I saw this ribbon wrap idea on an Instagram post from Stampin Up. It was used as a background with three wrapped strips. I could not wait to try it and wrapped one strip for my card.
Decided on a simple design since I am not 100 percent yet. So, I stamped a wreath and sentiment. On another piece, I stamped the bow two times, fussy cut one bow and just the top part of the second one; then attached them together and onto the card only in the middle, allowing the loops & tails to bend up. Using Envelope Punch board, I rounded the corners on the base and panel.
For dessert, I had a small portion. I dry embossed a scrap and punched out a sprig. I really like the textured look. Final touches were Wink of Stella on the bow and Opal Rounds in the wreath. The Fresh Freesia rounds are almost clear so might be hard to see. In person, they add a nice touch of sparkle.
We hope you will create with this lovely color combo and show us what you make! TFL

Diane, I’m so sorry to hear you haven’t been feeling well. You certainly would not be able to tell that from looking at this pretty card. I love the treatment you created with the ribbon, and also the two layer bow. I use those round opals on my card, too—love the sparkle!
