This is for our Tickle a Teapotter & my favorite time of day is early morning.
I am a 40 year working nurse, & have been retired for 14 years. But my brain is not retired because I still wake up around 5:45 to 6am. Had to be at work by 7 (we live close!).
But that is a peaceful time of day - no one is mowing their lawn, traffic is minimal & the birds are singing. And no one bothers me except Ginger, our dog. Sorry for the ramble.
So I stamped the bird & colored with Generals Chalk Pencils & smoothed them out with a small, stiff paintbrush. I stamped the greeting 4 times to get good coverage. I used the other half of the Mint Macaron card base.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a sweet card! I love listening to the birds in the mornings. Especially at the campground where we hear so many different birds.

I'll try to remember to swing back and see what time of day this is representing - but any time of day with birds is a good time in my book. Lovely colouring of your little bluebird.

Great coloring of this lovely bird. I taught for 40 years and had to get up at 5:45 every morning (most of the time in the dark.) Since I've been retired, if I wake up that early, I go back to sleep.

This is sweet with the bird on the branch amongst the flowers, Karen. Early morning is certainly a popular favourite time of day and I agree, living in an urban environment, before all the mowers etc start up!

I work at home so I can literally roll out of bed and walk 10 steps to my office....but alas I wake up super early so I end up feeding my girls, working out, shower, make breakfast and then working....so I am not sure there is any quiet time for me that early since I am up and moving. Maybe someday when I retire my brain will slow down and listen to the quite. I love your cute bird.
