I am glad the Ways to Use It Challenge was to use your pastels! I had the idea for this card already, but had not decided on how to color it. The pastels were perfect!
I didn't really do anything out of the norm for pastels, but I love the look. To get the coffee ring, I inked up the bottom of one of my mugs with VersaMark and "stamped" it on the card, then did the Stampin' Pastels Technique. I am SOOOO not the first person to think of that!
I masked the mug and used my Color Spritzer Tool all over the card. The heart and the swirlies are highlighted with my Stardust Gel pen! Love that thing!
Inside is a Starbuck's Gift Certificate so that the person I'm sending this to can enjoy a coffee break on me!

Darn, now I'm going to have to get that spritzer thingy. I just love this card. Your coffee mug mark is brilliant and so fitting. I don't know about you but I seem to have those rings where ever I sit and drink coffee. This is the most darling and clever idea. The sentiment just kills me as I am such a coffee snob. I don't have this set yet but think it's going on my list. Darn!! Cha ching! Into my favorites!
