What's more Basic than black and white? I adapted this design from a card that was originally designed by Dana Valdez who had used a SAB set. This card is simple yet elegant . . . perfect for a hands on workshop. Change the set to use any of our Vintage stamps (or those with fine-lined art) but keep the design because it is a winner and a WOWser every time! Thank you Dana, my friend, for sharing your card with me!! This version was one of my swaps for Convention in Vegas. Stamp directly on the vellum paper and attach.

This is so pretty. Will you please explain your layering steps? It looks like White Craft ink was used for the rose on the black card stock. And also our square punch was used. But what about the vellum? Thanks!
Stamp Basic Black on the vellum. You are right, I did use the square punch to create the hole on the white and then I attached the stamped vellum layer to the white so I could adjust the rose as I saw fit (so what I wanted was showing through the square punced area). Then you just attach this white layer to the black card stock. I know it looks deceiving . . . but the rose is just stamped with black ink on vellum.
