These are so easy to do for workshops because you can grab a box of letter size envelopes, both our square punches and a sheet of each color of card stock and run out the door . . . no prep work!! Let them measure where to cut their own envie using the paper cutter and that'll help them "become one with their trimmer". Then they can use the scissors to make a fancy edge if they like (instead just going with the straight edge of the trimmer.)Now, unfortunately this wheel went buh-bye but there are still plenty of others we can use for this simple hands-on project. If you want the bottom part of the envie to slide easily in and out of the top part then run it through the crimper. (Put it in so the longest edge is fed into the crimper . . . horizontally. That will make the envie sort of shrink up as it's crimped.) It's also really fun to cross-crimp these . . . crimp half the envie one way then turn 45 degrees and crimp the other half. A fun look!
