I love the gingham, I love the button, especially with the ribbon, and I love the DTP distressing. I hope you're sending this out as your Christmas card because its way cute!
First off, this card is wonderful. Second, I have an easy way to thread a button hole or anything. They are called "floss threaders". They are sold at Walmart by the toothpaste. The are blue, come in a little clear plastic case and so easy to use. A rep from one of the stamp companies showed them to me at a demo at my LSS. You just stick the ribbon, string or fiber through the loop and pull it through the hole you are threading thru. Hope this helps.

I like the black & white gingham with the gable green paper! It looks very pretty. I second Chimi93's advice on using the flossers to help thread your ribbon, twine, hemp, etc. through button holes. It's a great tip.

this is adorable.. I love the gingham ribbon especially with this green. You can push ribbon through a hole in paper or a button with a stylus tool too!
