This is just a cranberry colored candle from the dollar store. A little PearlEx and some MicroBeads really dress it up. I applied the PearlEx with my fingers and really worked it into the candle so it won't come off when someone handles it.

Did you have to heat the candle at all after rubbing the pearl ex into the candle? It doesn't come off on your fingers when you pick the candle up? It's absolutely beautiful. TFS

No, I didn't heat the candle and no it doesn't come off on your fingers when you pick it up. It took a little work but I rubbed the PearlEx on it and then used a dry paper towel to rub off the excess and worked it in the rest of the way with my fingers. The friction from rubbing it creates just enough heat to work it in. Thank you.

Smile! It makes people wonder what you've been up to. Go see my gallery!
I love this - it is just awesome!
But I have a questions - obviously everyone else knows since I'm the only one asking, but how did you get the color in the microbeads, or do they just pick up the color of whatever is underneath them? Thanks
This is beautiful and too pretty to light, but for practical minded people, here is a silly question. What happens to the microbeads and the adhesive when the candle burns to that point?
