It all started when I needed scraps of Apricot Appeal...A friend of mine lent me her Spring Bouquet Flower punch for a swap I wanted to do for the upcoming Vancouver Regionals. So, I figured while I had it, I might as well make good use of it. I decided that I'd punch a bunch of flowers to have on hand until I got around to ordering this punch for myself. I had never used the Apricot Appeal paper before and didn't have any scraps...what to do? Not a huge fan of this color...So I checked out the color challenge thread and found this combo. Works for me. Making this card also allowed me to take a break from punching all those flowers. Do you know how long it takes to get a little sample of each color from each color family? I've done the Soft Subtles, and now working on the Bold Brights. I figure if I don't use them all before I get my own punch, a little bag of assorted flowers would make great hostess gifts. Sorry this is so long-winded. Thanks for looking.
