I have heard this technique called "Caught in Ice" and "Iridescent Ice" but I prefer to call it "Ice, Ice, Baby!" It's one of my faves because it's so sparkly. People usually go Ooooooh when they see it, which makes me smile and we're all in it for the smiles right???

Thanks for your kind comments! You're right, the scan doesn't do it justice. I used the VersaMark pad to apply the EP, just a personal favorite though, I'm sure the embossing pad would do the same, don't you think?

I've gotten a couple pm's on the recipe for this card so I thought that I would post it on here for everyone to see too. It's very easy so here goes..
1. Chalk the whole card using daubers
2. Stamp images on card
3. Take VersaMark pad and direct apply to the whole card front
4. Sprinkle Iridescent Ice EP on the whole card, shaking off excess
5. Heat with heat tool and "ta da" beautiful sparkle!
Have fun creating icy sparkle!

Absolutely love your card. Thanks for the recipe, I am dying to try it. Just one question, After step 1 chalking the card, and step 2 stamping the images, when I do step 3 direct to paper with the versamark pad, does the chalk come off on teh versamark pad? I only have one and thought I'd ask you before I attempt this technique. Thanks Rozie
