Friends of ours have given us the use of their home in the mountains for the next 2 weeks. It is a gift of such generosity to us, we were not going to go away this year, and then they offered it to us, such bliss! My husband is dreaming about drinking his strong coffee out on the deck surrounded by the Rocky mountains...and this card sort of has that rich warm expensive coffee feel.
So, to say thank you, I made a tray of candles to match some of the decor in their home here in the city, and this card. Baroque Motifs is by far my favourite set in the new catalogue this fall. Also, new Vintage brads, and the new Brocade papers. Not too fancy with the extras, but this set can definitely carry it off...as you can tell by its abundance in the gallery. I went way back for this sketch too.
I really hope they like it. I'll load the pic of the candles later too.

Beautiful - such lovely bold and rich textures. I'm sure that they will love it.
