I used a bleach pen and a paint brush to bleach the flower part. I used a heat gun to make it even lighter. I trimed the design of the wrought iron punch. At my workshop, the women said it was the kind of card sent for a funeral in Germany. oops!

Barbara, I love the way you trimmed the punch - I missed that part yesterday. Great job. Guess my German's not so strong in me, since I love almost all cards framed in black :-)

Yes, I embossed the black ink. I actually did that for each guest ahead of the workshop so that we could 'focus' on the bleaching technique and trimming the wrought iron punch.
