I finally got to try out the glass etching technique. I found that it works best on the square votive holder rather than the plates. It was just easier. If it's your first time, try a flat surface like these glass votive holders that I got at Michael's. The etching cream is pretty expensive, but I tried to buy as small of a bottle as possible. It does go bad. Overall, I'm very happy with my design! I think this technique works great with the Seaside set!

Thanks for the info and tips - I was going to try this technique maybe tonight and I am going to buy the etching cream and something glass. I'll look for something square, as you said it's easier on that.
