Today's challenge is to use something computer generated in our design. My card is a baby shower invitation and the saying on the front is from my computer. I made this for a shower I gave.
I used the jumbo WASH DAY wheel, a couple of SU markers, some ribbon and there you have a fast easy invitation. Being a career Air Force wife I met and left many people...you learn to improvise...so when I gave a baby shower for my freind's daughter it was long distance. I live in Ohio, she lives in New York, and the rest of her family live in Georgia and Oklahoma. Inside the invitation reads: Shannon's far Away from Home
So here's what we can do....
Throw a long distrance baby shower
And MAIL her a gift or two !!
I gave the date that the presents should be to her house and her registry info. I mailed her a box of shower paper goods and I invited the few people that were close enough to go to her house and be with her while she opened her gifts.
She and my daughter were born in Japan together..and so with each invitation I sent a Japanese Orgami Geisha that I made for the party favor. We knew she was having a girl so my gift for the shower was a Japanese Tea Set.

This is wonderful!!!! I too was born in Japan, actually Okinawa. My mother is also from Okinawa and she would love this!!! If there is anyway possible, could you PM me the directions for creating this incredibly cute party favor? My mother's birthday is in July and this would be the perfect party favor for her party. I totally love it and into my faves it goes Thank you so much for sharing this and the story behind it!
