I made this for Jen's Sketch for You to Try over at her blog.
I colored in my tulips with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Then I went over them w/ a clear Glaze pen to add some shine and to resist the blue ink I sponged over afterward. I used my Coluzzle to cut the oval around, making sure to skip the flowers and stems for the "out of the box (in this case, oval)" look. Matted with 2 slightly off-kilter Giga Scallop oval punches. They don't match exactly, but where the tulips and stems overlap it didn't really need something there.
The rest of this card is pretty self-explanatory, like the white accents were Signo pen, the flower centers are crystal brads, and the bg is patterned paper.
By the way, Lauren (Mytime) led me to these wonderful shimmery embossed flowers @ Michaels in the wedding section. Oh, and this card measures 4.25" by 7.25"
