My mother in law asked me to make a baby card for a baby shower she is going to next week. I saw this card here on splitcoast and I loved it so much I just had to make one. I cased this card from Darleenstamps. Here is her card:
I love her card so much that I hardly changed anything. I did change the colors because I needed a card for a baby boy.
My biggest challenge was the background. I didn't have any patterned paper like on her card so I had to make it. My background is stamped using the 'Stipple Plaid' stamp and I used my SU Barely Banana marker to draw in the yellow lines using a ruler.
The letters are from the 'Letterpress' set and I stamped over them using the 'Canvas' stamp set. I added some ribbon along the bottom of my card and then I put brads over the ribbon. I used my crop a dile to get the brads lined up (and I have to tell you that crop a dile will punch through anything!)
Thanks for looking!

I like how you made your plaid paper. So cute. I CASE'd this exact card and made 80 birth announcements for our new grandbaby last November - they are very, very similar. I really love this card.
