This card uses the crayon resist technique. The wheel was rolled at an angle with Perfect Plum. The ink can be heat set or allowed to dry on its own. Once dried, some of the lilies and leaves were colored with kid's crayons. The card was then brayered over with Pale Plum. As the technique name indicates, the areas that were colored in with the crayon, "resist" the color that was applied with the brayer.

love this! I've been trying to convince myself that I don't want to start with the large wheels, but I now see that resistance is futile! I love this wheel, I have the stamp set that goes with it and just love it.
WOW what a nice card. I always liked that wheel and now I like it even more after seeing your card. This was a neat idea of rolling it this way....Thanks for thinking outside the box....

So THIS is what to do with this beautiful wheel. I'm so glad I got it. Now I just have to order the ink pads. I haven't played yet with the crayons and I'd wondered why people don't use colored crayons, not just white. Now I see how nice the colored ones are. This a beautiful card -- also great for Easter and sympathy.

Wow !! I was looking for examples of this wheel to see whether or not I wanted to get it. But the gallery only showed one card, then I opened it up and now I just HAVE to get this wheel. This card is gorgeous. You have done such a lovely job. Stunning !!!

This is so lovely. Great job- I wouldn't have thought of a coloured crayon, duh!
You can see more Lilies examples by going to the Search on the Home page of the Gallery, and entering Lilies. Then it will search all the Gallery, and get those ones that have Lilies as a secondary mention. There's a few more that way. I suppose you could also go to the Home page of the site and search there too, through the whole site! Just thought of that (it's late....)
Later....
Well, guess you can't search from the Home page of the site, no search feature there!
