The background is really very easy, but has big WOW factor! I used blue painter's tape and tore the pieces and adhered to cardstock, then brayered with black ink. When you remove the tape, you will have a perfect black and white zebra print. Note: when you remove the tape you will have little "splatters" along the edges from brayering. This actually makes the finished product look more like fur, so don't worry about it! (See my gallery for the same technique, adding color to make a tiger background.)
