This is an invitation for one of my friends' son, who will be turning one this month.
His birth announcements were made with this set, so his mom wanted to continue the tradition. We are already talking about what his wedding invitations will look like using this set :-)!
The invitations were made in four different cardstock colors, using coordinating non-Stampin'Up! ribbons (not enough time to order). The cardstock and ink colors used are Summer Sun, Brilliant Blue, Glorious Green, Real Red and Only Orange. Green Galore was used to stamp the animals instead of Glorious Green The smaller animals were stamped on the background layer, each in a different colors. Only the elephant and the giraffe were used for the "tag".
The birthday information (When, Where, RSVP)was printed with a laser printer on Ulstrasmooth White cardstock, which was cut in a square shape to match the card front, centered and attached to the back of the card shown here. Note that this is not a folded card invitation.
They turned out very bright and cheerful and just so appropriate for a boy's First birthday!
Best Wishes, Sam!!!
