Hi there teapotters! This is what I made for this week's Teapot Tuesday recipient, Linda (zgirlsgranny)
This is my story!
1. I am so impressed with Linda's many amazing talents. All her hobbies and skills! Geeze, she even does wood-working, big time!
2. So, in honor of Linda and her woodworking, I was determined to make my own project outa wood. So, I pulled out the skill saw, the jig saw, the wood glue, my hammer with little flowers on it, sand paper, chisel and lathe.....
3. After wondering how and what you do with all that equipment and realizing its sorta bulky for my stamp room, I found a little basket of 42,000 wood cut-outs happily purchased throughout the last 42,000 years and proceeded to cover a few of them up with pretty paper!
4. Whoot! Made a woodworking project and don't have to file a workman's comp claim against my hubby for an injury that surely would have happened.....Snort! You go girl! Linda, I am talking to you! Giggle!
5. So, here's to Linda, here's to you and your amazing talents. Here's to you and your battle with cancer and here's to you beating this thing and getting back to the teaparties with your friends! We have missed you!
My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Cindy...you never fail at giving us all a lift. Your story is almost as wonderful as your project! Maybe I'll use some of my 42,000 wood shapes too someday...giggle! Love your design and the papers that you chose. Thank you so much for coming to Linda's Teaparty...she really has been a special Teapotter and I am honored that we could do this for her. Big Hugz from NJ to an amazing woman.

Oh, Cindy, here I am, late again, but this definitely warranted a well thought out comment!! First, I am glad there was no blood spilled in the making of this project (it would certainly mess up the look of the paper covered wood, and we can't have that!!) Anywho ---just love this wonderful idea, and I bet Linda wants to look at it all day long - that's what your creations do to people!!
I too was impressed hearing about her wood working skilz, but alas, had no time to even attempt something like your wonderful creation.
Love how your mind works - you are a one of a kind artist, who does it all - can't believe you had any energy left after the 73 STUPENDOUS tickle cards you made - you just totally blow my mind!!

Cindy you are so wonderfully creative!! Love the project that you designed for Linda! She is just going to love the fact that you did it out of wood just for her! I am sure she will treasure it! Really a fun story too! LOL
