This is my second card for this week's color challenge. I trimmed out the middle of the background layer for my first card and covered the space with this Bouquet of Thanks image. This was stamped in Evening Evergreen and colored with blends. I went over it lightly used one of my large Blending Brushes with Fresh Freesia.
The bottom layer of this card (and focal point of my previous card) was made by watercoloring a piece of Shimmery White paper with the challenge colors.
Because I intended to use the Pretty Flowers embossing folder I started by loosely painting Fresh Freesia blobs where the large flowers would be, adding Rich Razzleberry centers and then adding Evening Evergreen around these. It was not exact!. I spritzed with water before and after adding the color via refills.
Before using the embossing folder I applied Evening Evergreen to the inside of the label side of the folder.
Once the dry embossing was done I went over the piece with my embossing buddy followed by a light application of versamark to the raised parts. You want a light touch so you don't cover up all of your watercolors after you emboss these areas with gold embossing powder.
Of course there are much simpler ways to add embossing to your color challenge. I just had a little fun going down the rabbit hole with this one! i hope you can play along.

This one is gorgeous, too. Good for you making two beautiful cards from the amazing background. Lovely coloring and sponging. The touches of gold are fabulous.
