So excited to post this card! Melody (lacyquilter) and I are still doing our Natural Beauty challenge where we give each other a little nudge to use our mutual, much loved Natural Beauty set. Melody chose the theme this month and it is a recycling for Earth Day.
I started with some corrugated cardboard snipped off a SU! box (some good cardboard). i pealed off the first layer of paper and then painted it white. I added this week's color challenge colors (the closest I could get) and let them all bleed into each other. After that dried, I stamped the panel with the bg stamp in the step - you can't really see it but it is there. Then I took some of the panels inside some of my bill envelopes - those blue dotted or crosshatched liners you see. I colored them up with the leftover colors from my panel. Then I stamped and cut out some butterflies which works for the fussy cutting F4A challenge. I wanted a sentiment so I found an old Blessed stamp from SU! and use it on some vellum. I also tried to do a vellum butterfly painted on the opposite side. The butterflies work for the WT Get Buggy Challenge.
Such a fun challenge - any of you with this set can play with us - just let us know.

Nancy I think of you everytime I see a great piece of corrugated cardboard....only a true Splitcoastie would know what a compliment this is. Everything about your creation is wonderful.

LOVELY, lovely....you and Melody are knocking the socks off your mutual challenges...your corrugated bg is so lovely...interesting to see how the beautiful that background is with a little whitewasing and colors added. Love the whole effect!

Whoa - hold on there girl! This is a piece of art. Looks like it should be hung on a wall. Your techniques and the thought you put into each part of this card if phenomenal. You still got it and always have Nancy.
