The idea for this started out from a piece of Starlitstudio's jewelry on which she used a partial image of this stamp. Someone else on here (sorry, I don't remember who, but it was a great idea) pink embossed flowers on these trees. I used puffed up and chalked Liquid Applique to make the flowers, a technique I learned from Cami and her tulips. Cami also gave me the little flower charm which she made from hot glue (isn't she a great upline). I just put it all together for a Spring card for my friend, Nancy, to sort of match the Itty Bitty Album I also made for her--thanks Julie HRR for figuring that one out and thanks Cami for demonstrating the itty bitty in one of her workshops!

It's me again... I just realized what I typed and submitted. I meant that my friend made a card using liquid applique on a tree (spring tree from Tree for all Seasons) for a cherry blossom look. Your card caught my eye on the thumbnail. Love pink/green together and I love the hot glue charm, great idea! Again, this card is eye candy.

I was just browsing the gallery and came across this card. So pretty! <sigh> As it's winter in the northwest right now I have a while to wait for for cherry blossoms, luckily I have this card to tide me over!
