I started with a DTP background in Sage Shadow. It really needed something to snaz it up so I went over it using the Canvas background in Ruby Red, intentionally making it sort of messy.
I also used the DTP method for the Ruby Red paper, since I didn't have any in that color. Image was stamped in Ruby Red, then the three smaller pieces of paper were crumpled, and I swiped at the creases in the white with the RR.
For finishing touches I used white fiber and cut the 3/8 plaid ribbon lengthwise for narrower pieces, stapled at top of matted piece.
