Ok, I've known for weeks that I needed gifts for my son's preschool teachers tomorrow but of course I just started them tonight!!
This is a journal that I bought at the $1.00 store and covered with paper. For the roses I used the TLC12 "hot card" with a twist. Meaning that I used freezer paper and no cardstock and plastic wrap. I've tried both ways and it works equally well.
I decided in the interest of time to stamp using the biggest stamp that I own!!
Also, I wasn't too pleased with the hot card at first since the texture is so nice but it's hard to see. I then took a round sponge and very lightly drug it over the tissue paper. It highlights the grooves perfectly!!

What a nice idea for the teacher! She'll love it!! Thanks for the tip about sponging over the grooves.
