I've tried a couple times to make acetate cards, but when I couldn't get them to look nice, I gave up. This is wonderful card, very very nice. You have inspired me to try again. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Everyone!
Thanks so much for all the nice comments! Since I never have an original idea, I cannot take credit for this card. The clear idea was in Papercrafts magazine a few months ago. Their layout was quite similar. The rest of the layout comes from the new Idea Book & catalog, page 26. Honestly, this card is a bit "out there" from my usual style. It's a bit modern for me; my husband did not care for it. It was fun to make though. I will be making more to sell at a fundraiser.
The acetate was some that I had purchased at a stamp convention, but you probably would want to use Window Sheets for a demonstration. The ones I have are quite thin. It was easy to cut & fold. I used the Fiskars trimmer to cut and then I just folded it like any other card (I did NOT score). After I folded it, I used a tiny roller (used for wall paper seaming) on the crease to make it sharp.
Then I just cut the glorious green 2 x 5.5, folded in half added adhesive and stuck it around the acetate. You can use mono but it will show a bit on the other side. I used a Xyron (still shows a little bit).

I CASED a clear card here for my graduation cards and for the last shoebox (just a mini card stuck to the clear)- they were great fun - but I love how you added the extra cardstock! I picked my sheets at Office Depot - office transparencies. They work in the clear oraments as well.

This is AWESOME! I LOVE it! I have to make a swap for my uplines meeting in a month - fall theme ... I think I will adapt this fantastic unique idea! Thank you so much for sharing! You did a really great job pulling the two ideas together.
