Same as WHAT other two? I don't know which ones you are talking about, but I sure like this. It looks like you've stamped the butterfly on white, then DTP around the edge--is that correct? I like how it "spotlights" the butterfly, while making that piece blend with the other colors.

The butterfly is actually paper pieced together. Basically- you stamp the image onto white. Then you stamp it onto various printed papers (I used 5 different papers). Then you cut and piece it together varying the papers to achieve the colored in look. That is really simple for an explanation I know. My Sept article for Rubber Road Adventures will have the instructions in detail (bookmark the link from my signature line). It is a really fun technique! I have been having a blast playing with it!

WOW April ~ It's beautiful.... I can't believe the butterfly is cut out of different papers.....that's alot of cutting. The results are beautiful. thanks for sharing!
