This is always one of my favorite projects! I don't seal them and I have trivets more than two years old (used frequently) and they don't have any worn areas.

Something I forgot to mention is that for two-step you do need to stamp on scratch paper first for the bottom layer (first step). Then, when stamping the detail or shadow on the grapes, you stamp it full strength. For this trivet, I only did the two-step in the grapes. My Olive, which is about 3 years old, was recently re-inked and it was pretty wet.

These are really beautiful!! I have never tried stamping on tile as I am pretty new to stamping, but these match my kitchen perfectly! Thank you so much for posting so much information as well!
