I've always wanted to do it, but this is the first time I've taken part in a sketch challenge. It was fun to re-interpret one of my own layouts!
The background is the inside front cover of a card my local Hallmark store sent to me for my birthday!

Elaine (Happy Heart) did a good job of cutting. She said she purposely left the white edge for contrast, but that I should post my tip anyway. After cutting, I run the brush side of a black marker along the edge and cover up all the white, holding the marker perpindicular to the edge for greater control. If the inked image is some other color, like burgundy, run the brush side of the burgundy marker along the edge. No white to show how close you cut it! Ta daaaa!
